Bubbly Brew Inserts - Delayed (Final Update)
over 2 years ago – Tue, Nov 02, 2021 at 08:44:20 PM

Hi Everyone,

Got some not so good news. Ive been in contact with my manufacturer for the inserts the past couple of weeks and, initally, I was told it would take 2 weeks to manufacture the inserts and I should recieve them by the end of October. Well, its November and, I reached out to my manu again for an update and it looks like there was a sizing issue for the inserts. Not entirely sure what happened there but, they’re working on getting it fixed so, hopefully the inserts will be on their way to me within the next week or so. I only have about 19 orders left to ship out (not including the Australian ones that are on hold due to USPS service suspension) so, once those inserts come in, it should be an easy pack and go day. Expect your bags before December (Unless youre an Australian backer).

I‘ve gone ahead and also updated my shop ( www.Cinnitea.com ) with most of the remaining stock from the Kickstarter so, please go check it out if you want any additional items. This includes, bags, wings, pins, inserts, and acrylic charms.

Anyway, thank you all for your patience and support throughout this entire campaign. I think it’s relatively safe to say that this will be the final update :D Its been a long, hectic, journey but, I honestly cant begin to thank you guys enough for staying with me through it all.

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!

Signing off,

Courtney

Fulfillment is 85% Complete! + Australia Update + Shops Reopened!
over 2 years ago – Thu, Oct 07, 2021 at 09:18:07 PM

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to come on here and make a quick update to let you all know that fulfillment is still ongoing but, we’re in the final stretch! I have about 47 more orders to get out so, hopefully, those will be out before the end of the month. I’m working on grading the last 4 boxes of black bags so, with any luck, I’ll have just enough to cover the rest of the orders without issues. Then I’ll be grading the last of the pink and purple boxes and listing any remaining A grades or lower in my shop.

I’m still waiting on the bubbly brew inserts to finish production. I currently have about 12 bubbly brew inserts sitting in my office but 30 more people that ordered the insert. Once the reorder comes in, it should be a quick fulfillment process after that as long as the inserts don’t have a lot of problems so, at the latest, youll all (hopefully) have your bags come November.

AUSTRALIA

As for those of you in Australia that are still waiting on your bags, currently, USPS still has a suspension ongoing. So, thats fun. I’ll be keeping an eye on it and seeing what happens. As for those whose packages I sent before I realized there was a suspension, the packages (as far as Im aware) are in California at the Shipstation fulfillment center. Tracking for them was updated as of Sept 22nd and Im still unsure if the packages are gonna be returned to me due to the suspension of usps post or if theyre just gonna sit there until the suspension is lifted… I’ll keep you guys updated on if I see any movement or if they return back to me.

SHOPS

Also, some exciting news for myself, Ive reopened my shops! Both my etsy and shopify are back up and running so, if you want to check them out, youre more than welcome to but if youre still waiting on you bag order, I just want it to be known that I can NOT combine the orders. Im doing this just because I dont want to accidentally mess up anyones order and its a lot harder to fulfill when you have multiple orders to combine into a single package. Anyway, if you want to check out my shops, you all (who ordered a bag) got a 15% discount code thats good until the end of next year so, feel free to use it! It can only be used once per person though. So, make the most of it :D

Everything that was in this Kickstarter is available as well minus whatever else is needed to complete fulfillment. This includes A grade bags, inserts, and wings for the moment. Once fulfillment is complete, the rest of the stock will then go up for sale.

Anyway, that’s everything for now. I’ll keep you all updated and let you know when the bubbly brew remakes come in and when fulfillment is complete! Thank you all for your patience, support, and understanding throughout this entire project. It has helped me greatly and I can’t thank you all enough throughout this rollercoaster of a ride.

Bubbly Brew Insert Follow Up - Photos
over 2 years ago – Mon, Sep 27, 2021 at 06:59:30 PM

Hi again,

I was just asked if I can post some example photos of the B grade inserts so, here's what the main issues im running into are. Hopefully this helps in deciding of whether or not you want a B grade insert or want to wait for remakes.

The most common problems are the screen printing not taking to the entire insert, hair or string stuck in the screenprint paint, scratched up, dirty, chipped screen print, or even offcenter screen paint.

For some clarification for a grading scale, any of these problems could be present in an A grade insert based on placement, size, or visibility of the problem. Example, if theres some black smudging on the edge of the insert but you put it in your window pocket and its not visible, then that's an A grade. For the most part though, I try and not give out those inserts or they are far and few in between.

Anyway, here are the photos, I hope this helps!

Bubbly Brew Inserts - Purchasing More
over 2 years ago – Mon, Sep 27, 2021 at 06:57:25 PM

Hi everyone,

As Ive been grading the printed inserts, I’ve run into quite a few that have problems. The most of which being for the bubbly brew inserts which was the most popular one chosen.

When grading these inserts, I take a couple things into consideration. Is the flaw small enough that a pin will cover it, will the bag hide the flaw, and is this something that can be easily fixed with an iron or steamer?

However, even with all of those exceptions taken into consideration, I will not have enough to fulfill all of the orders that have bubbly brew inserts. But, dont worry, I‘m not asking for people to opt in for a lower quality insert or even change their insert option. Thankfully, the inserts are something I can afford to order more of so, I’m more so just asking for time while these are getting remade. I just put the order in last night with my manufacturer and they gave me a timeline of about 16 buisness days (7 days of a national holiday, 7 days of printing, 2 days of sewing, plus around 3 or so days for shipment). So, I should have them by the end of October, at the latest, if all goes smoothly. My manu said they are asking the workers to start on them asap so, hopefully, I can miss a bit of the holiday delay. If you dont want to wait for the additional inserts, I understand, and you can email me at [email protected] or message me on kickstarter or instagram @cinnitea to arrange an alternative means of recieving either a different insert or a lower quality one. But, like I stated above, its definately not necessary to switch if you’re able to wait a bit longer.

I have about 99 orders left to fulfill out of the 276 I started with so, I’m hoping to get to get those done as quickly as possible. But, some of you may have to wait for the bubbly brew inserts to come in. Out of those 99, about 70 of you have that insert listed and I have around 51 bubbly brew inserts Im okay with sending out. If it helps, Im also working Alphabetically by first name and am currently on J names. So, if you know you’re lower on the list and have something important that this bag is needed for, please let me know and I can try and arrange for your bag to go out sooner.

I deeply apologize for yet another set back in this project. I didn‘t expect these inserts to have as many problems as they are. If you didn’t order a bubbly brew insert, you shouldn’t have to worry about not recieving your bag in a timely manner.

Thank you for your patience as I make my way through these remaining orders. I greatly appreciate all the kind words and support you all have given me. It has definately helped a lot with all the stress this project has put me under.

Until Next Time,

Courtney

Not enough “A Grade” bags to fulfill orders…
over 2 years ago – Fri, Sep 24, 2021 at 05:15:05 PM

Hi Everyone,

I have some bad news. Im working on grading the bags still and have about 12 more boxes to go with 139 orders left to fulfill.

With those 12 boxes, only 9 of them are for black bags and, at most, I’ll get 120 A grade black bags. I, also, have about 11 bags upstairs that are A grades and about 40+ bags in my garage that are A-/B+, B, or C grades.

If you did the math correctly, you would see that I wont have enough A grades to fulfill orders. Even if all the bags in the boxes that I have yet to open were A grades, I would still have 8 A grades unaccounted for.

And unfortuantely, I don’t have the money to order more since all of the funds from the kickstarter either went into the extra shipping costs to get the bags to me, the extra shipping costs to get the bags to you (given my move), or into taxes.

Also, while working on the bags, Ive noticed that a significant amount of bat wings have been dented from other snaps being pushed into them or bent. I also dont think I‘ll have enough bat wings to fulfill orders. Given I have about 120 more sets to go through and about 9 sets upstairs.

So, ultimately, what Im asking from you all is if you would be interested in a A-/B+ grade or a B grade, and a set of slightly indented wings from snaps if youre also given a partial refund to make up for the difference in quality. $2.50 for A-/B+ and $5 for B grades. Then if youre okay with lower quality wings, I can offer $.50 per wing thats lower quality so, up to $1 refunded.

I will, of course, try my best to get these bags to the best quality they can be and even going back through some A-/B+, and B grade bags to see if I can fix them to make them higher quality. The most troublesome thing Ive been experiencing is scuff and scratch marks on the windows, and bent front or back panels.

If this is something youre okay with, please let me know and I can push you to the front of the line in shipping since those bags have already been graded.

I honestly cant tell you how much this saddens me to do because I thought I ordered more than enough to account for lower quality bags but, with the snaps and the panels being bigger than the bag compartment space, it really screwed me up because of they were packaged and shipped to me.

Anyway, if no one steps up to take a semi lower quality bag or set of bat wings, Ill be sending out what I can and then emailing those affected and seeing what they’d like to do. Im hoping to get all the bags graded and sent out before Oct 5th so, you can expect an email before then if you’re affected.

I apologize for any inconvience this may have brought.

until next time,

Courtney
